During the peak of this election, one of the major DCAs, the aggregators that connect texting platforms to the carriers, was overwhelmed, and about half of texting providers had delivery problems. Some platforms count a message as delivered as soon as it leaves their system, so a number that's out of service can still show up as a success. echo19 reports what the carriers tell us. When a program starts to slip, we don't just send a notification and hope someone sees it. Often we pause the program for you, then work with you to fix the cause, whether that's message content, list quality or an upstream route, so the rest of the send gets better results.
